I woke up to a super sunny spring day.  The daffodils are blooming and the tulips are just started to open up their beautiful faces.  As I sipped on a very full bodied cup of coffee, I reflected on how just holding on to one more day of gloomy weather had led me to this total spring glory.  

After days and days of rain and dark wintery skies, the sun finally broke out. I took this rare opportunity for a much needed hike in the sun.

This Thanksgiving at Minipawss Farm, I am giving thanks to all of you, the non-stop rain and the piles of autumn leaves I get to gather for all my gardens.

We had a fun weekend here. We bought pumpkins, and enjoyed all you can eat fresh crabs. But the greatest joy over the weekend was welcoming our newest grandbaby.

So many fresh cherries, strawberries, blackberries, and plums to enjoy. And, now that it's getting cold in Sequim, and I've got apples—tons and tons of apples.

I just returned from visiting my son, Jimmy. I nicknamed the trip “Operations Fat Belly” because we ate so much food, everything from—Indian cuisine to Thai.

Celebrating my birthday at Mini Paws Farm included my Airbnb guests serving Mimosas, peanut butter chocolate pie, and then freshly BBQ'd ribs. Happy Birthday to me!

I read that dirt is a natural antidepressant once it is disturbed—little bugs get in your nose and make you happy. This explains why I am addicted to gardening.

My garden in Sequim has a new gate to shovel the farmyard poop that my neighbors—two sheep, two ponies, one goat, and a bunch of chickens leave me every day.
